California Proposition 65
Picnic at Ascot is committed to conducting its business in a socially responsible and ethical manner consistent with all applicable national and local legal requirements which is further reflected in our commitment to providing our customers with products that meet or exceed their expectations.
Picnic at Ascot applies the highest standards of safety for its products. In order to meet both the needs of our customers and the regulatory requirements of the markets we serve, Picnic at Ascot requires all of our products meet our specifications.
Regarding California’s Proposition 65 rules, we employ an extensive restricted substance list, which includes the chemicals listed under Prop 65. Our vendors are required to abide by this restricted substance list. Decorating and printing inks used on Picnic at Ascot products decorated in the USA have been tested for compliance with the Prop 65 rules.
Picnic at Ascot does not intentionally add chemicals that might require a warning. Safe Harbor Level limits have not been fully established by Proposition 65 for all substances, and that list changes periodically. If Picnic at Ascot becomes aware that any product shall require a Prop 65 Warning, we will apply a Prop 65 warning label to that product. For products manufactured on or after August 30 2018, we will also indicate on our website those items that will require a Prop 65 Warning.
